Sshrishti is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working for women and Youth empowerment in India since 2003. It was founded by Sanghamitra Bose and its core, to empower the community. To understand the words "Empowering women in India means empowering an entire family" has focused on women empowerment. With this belief, Sshrishti is dedicated to promoting gender equality, women's rights, and social development through various empowerment programs. These efforts focus on improving the socio-economic development of women. In particular, they provide education, skill development and vocational training for women. Additionally, they help women become financially independent. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment for women's personal and professional growth, Sshrishti therefore works to build a more inclusive, equitable, and empowered society.
We provide various women empowerment programs in India, focusing on skill development and education through initiatives like the Digital Literacy Program, KAARI Studio, and other training programs. As a result, by getting these skills women become independent and capable of grabbing opportunities in employment. Consequently, the position of the women has improved not only in their family but also in society. A woman feels confidence in our society and takes action to their rights. Shrishti's skill development program has proved helpful for society and women also. Sshrishti provides various women empowerment programs all over India. Our Mahila Panchayat initiative passionately works to make understanding gender-based violence. With the Delhi Commission for Women, we help educate women in the Bhatti Mines area. We conduct workshops, awareness sessions, and legal counsel for empowering women to stand against rights violations. Through regular workshops, awareness sessions, and community dialogues, take initiative to educate women about their rights, legal protections, and available support systems. Additionally, Legal counseling and referral support further enable survivors of violence to take informed steps toward justice. By building leadership, confidence, and practical skills, the Mahila Panchayat empowers women to challenge rights violations, promote gender equality, and ultimately emerge as change-makers within their families and communities.
In our pursuit of capacity building and skill development we adopt a holistic approach to foster economic independence. Through vocational training in tailoring and remedial classes , we empower women with practical skills, enabling them to secure gainful employment.
